17 Times Hair in Superhero Movies Was Unrealistic as Heck
Come on, directors. You can only suspend disbelief for SO LONG!
Okay, we're cool with superheroes being able to perform death-defying feats that save the planet time and time again. They're super heroes - that's what they're there for!
...But being able to do all of that while ALSO having immaculate hair? Now that's just unfair!
(p.s. Minor spoilers ahead!)
1. When Captain Marvel's hair looked like this
Right after crash landing from SPACE into a Blockbuster
No one's hair can be that perfect after a crash landing. NO ONE'S.
2. Also - every single time she takes her helmet off
How do you go from a perfectly even mohawk to beach waves in 2 seconds?
3. When Hawkeye's hair stayed perfectly poofed in a disastrous battle zone
An entire building just collapsed with you in it! There is NO WAY your hair is still so nice.
Nope. This volume is impossible. It doesn't just HAPPEN like this.
4. When Wonder Woman's hair was perfect while she tossed around cars
5. And while she made massive jumps through burning landscapes
6. And while she deflected bullets
Girl, we know that it's the tradition of your people to wear your hair back while in battle. Isn't that much more practical???
7. When Peter Quill's face was literally falling apart but his hair was still awesome
Like shouldn't hair be self destructing also? Do infinity stones not affect the scalp? #seriousquestions
8. When Yukio's electronic chain whip didn't cause ANY static or burns in her super shiny straight hair
Post battle, it looks the exact same. No frizz. No flyaways. HOW IS IT SO PERFECT?
(though we are proud of her for pulling her hair back! Unlike SOMEONE we know **cough, Wonder Woman, cough**)
9. Speaking of lightning... Thor's hair should have been fried right the heck off his head by now
He can't possibly be a conduit for that much lightning without SOME heat damage.
10. Also the idea that Stan Lee's character wielding THESE tools...
...could give Thor a haircut like this is redonkulous
11. Doctor Strange's hair still looking this nice after he was tortured? NOPE.
Exactly 3 pieces of hair are barely out of place. 3 PIECES. Meanwhile, that side part is still absolutely immaculate, as are the slicked back grey hairs at his temples. UNFAIR!
12. Black Widow's super springy curls staying perfectly styled after fighting who knows how many black ops dudes? IMPOSSIBLE.
What kind of hairspray is she using??? Or is she just putting straight up GLUE on her hair???
13. When Gamora's hair looked gorgeous both during...
...AND after a big ole' rolling-on-the-sidewalk fight with Quill
If anything, it looks even better after. So voluminous! Also - who the heck looks that good in a mugshot?
14. When he is FIGHTING BATMAN IN THE RAIN but Superman still only has his one signature curl out of place
Nuh-uh. Nope. We don't care what planet you're from. No one's hair is consistently THAT on brand.
15. How Catwoman's long brown hair never ever ever ever even SLIGHTLY mussed by fighting
No one's hair can stay that straight while being violently tossed in a fight!
16. Or by goggles
Are those goggles designed to be hat-hair resistant or something??? How does her pulled back hair stay so darn perfect?
17. And of course, how Violet Parr's hair is INSANELY shiny in EVERY SITUATION EVER, from street fights...
...to jungle fights...
...to plane crashes...
...to super sibling fights.
Girl never has a bad hair day. Because apparently those just don't exist for superheros.
